Requirements

IMPORTANT :
Please do not book your flight before having your travel document.

Please Note:
An incomplete application will be RETURNED UN-PROCESSED. An application accompanied by fee in the form of cash or personal cheque will also be returned.

Before sending your application by mail, please make sure that the application form is complete and signed and all required documents are attached. For list of required documents please refer to the relevant section below.

Please note all those documents which require to be notarized must be signed by a Notary Public or a Lawyer and not by a Commissioner for Oaths. Only Affidavits could be signed by Oath Commissioners.

 

Manual Passport Renewal

  • Issuance of new Manual Passport in lieu of expired Manual or Machine Read-able Passport

Persons Eligible for Issuance of new Manual Passport in lieu of expired Manual or Machine Read-able Passport:
1)Your Passport must have completed 5 years from the date of issue.
2)Your Passport is to be expiring within 7 months or is already expired.
3)You have all the requirements listed below in the "Requirements:" section.
4)You are within our service area of Alberta, British Columbia , Saskatchewan and Yukon.

Requirements:

  • Duly filled in Passport Application Form
  • Original expired or soon to be expired Manual or Machine Read-able Passport along with copies of first four pages
  • Original Valid CNIC or Valid NICOP along with a photocopy or if you do not wish to not sent the original document with a photocopy you may send us a Notarized copy of CNIC or NICOP
    For children below the age of 18 years and not having NICOP, please attach original Children Registration Certificate (CRC) OR a notarized copy of CRC.
    You may get a notarized copy of your document by visiting a Notary Public or Lawyer.
  • Valid P.R. Card or Citizenship Card or valid Work Permit or valid Student Permit or Birth certificate for children born in Canada - Original and a photocopy or if you do not wish to not sent the original document with a photocopy you may send us a Notarized copy of P.R. Card or Citizenship Card or Work Permit or Student Permit or Birth certificate for children born in Canada
    You may get a notarized copy of your document by visiting a Notary Public or Lawyer.
  • Three identical most recent colour photographs duly stamped with the date by a photographer in Canada , taken within past three months. The size of the photo to be submitted is 1.5” width by 2.0” height with a light blue or white background.
  • Applicants sending their documents through mail should invariably enclose a self addressed registered pre-paid return envelope with their application.
  • Include payment indicated in the Fee Table & Information:

  • Urgent passport (new or renewal) | $175 CAD | Processing Time : Next Working Day

    The above mentioned fee is payable by a certified cheque, money order or bank draft in the name of “Consulate General of Pakistan” for the amount mentioned.

    If you cannot fit the entire payee name in the certified cheque, money order or bank draft you may shorten the pay order to be paid to "Con. General of Pakistan" or "Con. Gen. of Pakistan".

    If you are submitting more than one Passport application you may combine the total fees for all applications onto one Certified Cheque or Money Order.

Lost Manual Passport 

  • Issuance of new Manual Passport in lieu of Lost Passport

Requirements:

  • Duly filled in Lost Passport Application Form
  • Copy of lost Passport
  • Original Valid CNIC or Valid NICOP along with a photocopy or if you do not wish to not sent the original document with a photocopy you may send us a Notarized copy of CNIC or NICOP
    You may get a notarized copy of your document by visiting a Notary Public or Lawyer.
  • For children below the age of 18 years and not having NICOP, please attach original Children Registration Certificate (CRC) OR a notarized copy of CRC
  • Only Notarized Copy is acceptable of P.R. Card or Citizenship Card or Work Permit or Student Permit or birth certificate for children born in Canada.
  • Four identical most recent colour photographs duly stamped with the date by a photographer in Canada , taken within past three months. The size of the photo to be submitted is 1.5” width by 2.0” height wide with a light blue or white background.
  • Police Report of the Lost Passport - Original with a Photocopy or a Notarized Copy
  • Original Notarized Affidavit of Lost Passport - You may get a notarized copy of your document by visiting a Notary Public or Lawyer or Oath Commissioner.
    The affidavit is a self written letter explaining how you lost your Passport and if found that you will notify us and return the Passport; it should contain the Passport #, date of issue and place of issue. If you cannot remember all the details please include as much information as possible.
  • Applicants sending their documents through mail should invariably enclose a self addressed registered pre-paid return envelope with their application.

  • 2nd time urgent | $512 CAD | Processing Time : Passport is issued after verification of lost passport

  • 3rd time Lost - Passport cannot be issued if this is your 3rd Lost Passport

Manual Passport For Children

  • 1st time Passport for Children already endorsed on parents valid or expired Passport

Requirements:

  • Duly filled in Passport Application Form
  • Original Passport in which child is endorsed along with copies of Passport
    Original Passport is required to delete the child off the Passport; Passport is required even if it is expired.
  • Original NICOP of the child or Children Registration Certificate (CRC) along with a copy OR Notarized copy of NICOP or CRC.
    You may get a notarized copy of your document by visiting a Notary Public or Lawyer.
  • P.R. Card or Citizenship Card or Birth certificate for children born in Canada - Original required with a photocopy or if you do not wish to not sent the original document with a photocopy you may send us a Notarized copy of P.R.   • Five identical most recent colour photographs duly stamped with the date by a photographer in Canada , taken within past three months. The size of the photo to be submitted is 45mm high by 35mm wide with a light blue or white background. The size of the photo to be submitted is 1.5” width by 2.0” height with a white background.
  • Applicants sending their documents through mail should invariably enclose a self addressed registered pre-paid return envelope with their application.

  • Extension of Restricted Validity Manual Passport 

Note: Extension cannot be done on Machine Readable Passports(MRP).

Persons Eligible for Extension:
1)Your Passport must be issued on a restricted basis (IE for 1-2 years), there should be a statement on PG6 stating that the "validity of your Passport may be extended with the presentation of your valid original CNIC or NICOP or CRC.
2)Your Passport cannot exceed 5 years from the date of issue, if your Passport has exceeded 5 years from the date of issue you will have to apply for Passport renewal.
3)You are not holding a Machine Read-able Passport (MRP)
4)You are within our service area of Alberta, British Columbia , Saskatchewan and Yukon.

  • Original Pakistan Passport in which the Extension is required and a photo copy.
  • Original Valid CNIC , Original Valid NICOP or Original Children Registration Certificate (CRC) and a copy.
  • There is no charge for Extension.

    1) Children can only be re-endorsed on the Passport of the mother or father if the child will not exceed 12 years of age at the expiry of the passport.
    2) Endorsements cannot be done on Machine Read-able Passports (MRP)
    3)You must be within our service area of Alberta, British Columbia , Saskatchewan and Yukon to apply.

    Requirements:

  • Please fill in #14 of the Passport Application Form for mother or father’s Passport renewal to re-endorse your child.
    *Please make sure to provide all required documents for Passport renewal.
  • One most recent colour photographs duly stamped with the date by a photographer in Canada , taken within past three months. The size of the photo to be submitted is 1.5” width by 2.0” height with a light blue or white background.
  • Applicants sending their documents through mail should invariably enclose a self addressed registered pre-paid return envelope with their application.
  • There is no fee for re-endorsement if you are applying for renewal of Passport at the same time and you are Endorsing that child on the Passport that is being renewed.


    Important Notes:

    • Applicants are requested to note down the incoming and outgoing tracking # with the courier service in case package confirmation is required.
    • Please note we only service Alberta, British Columbia , Saskatchewan and Yukon.

  • Machine Readable Passport (MRP)

The Consulate General of Pakistan in Vancouver DOES NOT process MRP.

Only Consulate General of Pakistan Toronto is processing MRP. Please visit their website for more information : http://www.pakmission.ca/

 If you already have a machine readable passport you can apply for a manual passport in lieu of your expired MRP.
 

Important:

As per latest instructions received from Directorate General Immigration & Passports, Pakistan. The validity/expiry date of Manual Passports issued from the Consulate General will not be beyond 24th November 2015.

Notes

  • Passport with one year validity will be issued in the absence of CNIC/NICOP. The validity of the passport would be extended free of charge on presentation of CNIC/NICOP.
  • The name appearing on the new passport would strictly be as per old passport or NICOP, except in the cases of marriages on the submission of notarized copy of "Nikah Namah".
  • Applicants sending their documents through mail should invariably enclose a pre-paid self addressed registered/courier envelope.
  • Fee is accepted in form of bank draft, money order, or certified cheque payable to "Consulate General of Pakistan"
  • Fee is non refundable for all services.
  • Processing time may vary depending on the nature of application and attached documents.
